Thanks To Smoke & Mirrors was a collection of the four previously released singles. Initially released physically as a fundraiser for a music project in Kolkata, India, a full remaster of the EP was released in June 2021.

Left & Right was the first album released by Joshua Faulkner. Themed around the mind, Joshua rerecorded the four-track heard on Thanks To Smoke & Mirrors to better fit the album, alongside 5 brand new tracks.

EFFIGY MEMORY

July 2020

Effigy Memory was a project born out of Joshua Faulkner’s “Bedroom Acoustic” series on Instagram and Facebook. As such, all of the tracks on the album forego electric guitars, in favour of acoustic guitars. Featuring 4 original songs, two of which were written during the UK’s 1st lockdown from COVID-19. The EP also features two reimaginings of tracks previously heard on “Left & Right”.

Joshua's first cover of a song originally by Arctic Monkeys. Joshua reimagined the track in his own style and added his unique flair of rhythmic guitar playing and soulful vocals.

After taking a short break from releasing music, Joshua Faulkner returned with an Indie Rock sound. Feeling compelled to tell his own stories as well as others, A Man For Words shows a notable shift in his songwriting and production skills.

I'm The Reason is a love letter to 90s Indie bands Semisonic and Blur. The tracks is about wanting someone to stay, despite how hard it is to pin them down, all in the name of love.

The follow on from I'm The Reason, Quilt Cocoon tells the tale of a girl finding herself after a long and ugly period following the break up with her significant other. She changes her appearance and reinvents herself to show the world she's looking up and looking forward
